The Prince George Technical Education Centre was designed in tandem with the Quesnel Project with a similar program and is also LEED® Gold certified. Both projects take advantage of solar orientation with central atria arranging workshop spaces on the north and classroom and staff areas overlooking a new campus garden in Prince George and the Fraser river in Quesnel. Just like in Quesnel, this project involved full service design, including integrated architecture and interior design, graphics and wayfinding. The building includes 8 shops, 11 classrooms and 4 computer labs as well as a student lounge and space for 24 instructors. Sustainability features included a green roof, on-site storm water management, solar collectors for hot water, and an in-floor radiant heating and cooling system.

This project was completed by omb's predecessor firm McFarlane | Green | Biggar Architecture + Design.
