Bryan Lemos Beça, associate principal

Architect AIBC, CPHD, WELL AP

Sincere. Generous. Happy Camper.

Design, teaching, research, community work—Bryan’s wide-ranging interests are matched only by his bottomless energy. To wit: over the past decade, he exhibited at galleries in Vancouver and beyond, won multiple art and design competitions, contributed to several books, and served as an adjunct professor at UBC. He also spent five years at an architecture and planning firm in Toronto, where he worked on everything from heritage renovations to urban design. The common goal behind these varied pursuits: to quietly better the world and help people achieve their goals.

With his wife and young son, Bryan recently settled back in Vancouver in search of crisp air, tall mountains and easy access to camping. He loves to read, though fatherhood has seen him swap contemporary fiction and philosophy for Twinkle, Twinkle, I Love You (which, he maintains, is an excellent book).
