Susanne West Hunter, associate principal

Architect AIBC LEED® AP

Grounded. Eco-minded. Architect for life.

Born in Denmark and educated in Canada, Susanne has known she wanted to be an architect since grade seven. With a bachelor of arts in English (with distinction) from U of C and a master of architecture from UBC, she has gone on to become a mentor and leader at the omb studio. Susanne shines in situations with tight deadlines, creating an environment of nimble adaptability with her responsiveness and attention to detail.

Sustainability is a critical piece of the puzzle for Susanne, in work and in life. She has worked on a wide variety of project types, including schools and post-secondary institutions, offices, daycares, and community health centres. Susanne finds balance by making time to play: she competes on an ultimate frisbee team and dons her cheerleading frock for her three budding soccer players and figure skaters.
