1558 West 6th Avenue (FORM) Presentation Centre

In collaboration with Anthem Properties Group, omb is providing architectural and interior design services for a 50-suite residential development at 1558 6th Avenue. In advance of the development, omb also provided design services for the transformation of the site into a 4400sf presentation centre, which introduced the sophisticated design language of the anticipated project; FORM.

The ambition for the FORM Presentation Centre was to take an innovative approach to the typology, creating a tailor-made space that uses highly integrated interior design solutions to help create a sense of excitement for the sale of the units. The suites are represented through several vignettes and suite finish schemes are artfully displayed with various spaces for meeting, both formal and informal.

We collaborated with the full client team and Letterbox Design, to ensure the marketing graphics and creative were well integrated into the interiors. We also enjoyed working closely with LM Studio for the vignette styling, and Propellor Studio to create a unique branded resin screen at the entry. A 70’-long wood shelving element spans the length of the presentation centre, providing the backdrop for development marketing materials and local community contributors who create a rich tapestry in the South Granville neighbourhood. Our goal was to capture the authentic spirit of the vibrant South Granville community and embody it in the boutique development and presentation centre, attracting the next generation of residents.

Simplicity and restraint were driving factors in developing a design that captures the elegance of the development. Form and materiality quietly combine, creating spaces that feel light, functional and timeless.
