The Kelowna Airport (YLW) is planning an extensive expansion to their terminal building and surrounding amenities to meet the needs of the increased passenger traffic and adapt to meet the changing needs of their customers. omb was commissioned to develop an expansion plan to meet current needs and provide a phased growth to get to their 2045 forecasted growth. The phased expansion will double the size of the existing terminal, updating the passenger screening areas, increasing the size of the departures holdroom, replacing the inbound baggage handling systems, tripling the passenger concessions, introducing a dedicated loading facility and replacing the existing CBSA facilities.
